Earrings with lucky charm pendant Su coccu and corbula. Stud earrings butterfly clasp.
"Su coccu" according to Sardinian tradition represents a real good luck amulet. Formerly made of obsidian, now made of onyx, it is said to have the power to absorb all sorts of negativity and hold it inside until, once saturated, the stone cracks. Su coccu is given to newborn children, a bride or a loved one to protect them from the evil eye and negative energies.
The corbula, with its spiral decorations, echoes the motifs of baskets and from the Sardinian button. The corbula represents the breasts of a goddess symbolizing prosperity.
