"Sa pintadera" represents one of the symbols of Sardinia. A terracotta or ceramic jewel with a circular shape. There are several theories about its meaning. Some scholars think it is an astral depiction used as a calendar in Nuragic times. Others, based on the finding of some small bronzes, claim it to be stamps used to decorate bread and textiles.
